Carbide Insert Left Hand Cutting Tool

3/8" square right hand turning tool. These tools have a super sharp speciality carbide insert with an upward rake for cutting wood, metal, and aluminum. This tool cuts from right to left with the cutting edge facing towards the headstock. It will make ribbons from maple and stay sharp for a very long time. Each insert has 2 cutting points and can be rotated when one gets dull. The tool includeds 2 inserts and replacements are available. Please note that this will not fit into the standard double sided toolpost without modification. It is designed to be used with the quick change toolpost.
