Replacement Foot Control Pedal – 550 Watt DC Motor System
This foot control pedal is designed for use with the Mid-America 550 Watt DC motor system and provides convenient hands-free start/stop operation.
This pedal functions strictly as a momentary on/off switch:

Press = Motor On

Release = Motor Off
It does not provide variable speed control. Lathe speed is adjusted using the potentiometer located on the speed control box.
How It Connects
This pedal does not plug into a signal port on the controller.
Instead:

The 110 VAC wall power plugs into the foot pedal

The pedal then feeds power to the 550W speed control box
The pedal simply interrupts or supplies incoming AC power to the controller, acting as a master on/off switch.
