This motor pulley is designed specifically for the 550 Watt DC motor system used on Mid-America lathes. It features an 8mm bore sized for the 550W motor shaft and is configured to run either a 2L130 or 2L140 belt.
This pulley comes standard on all Basic Series lathes manufactured after January 2026 and matches the updated 2L series belt drive system.

Important Compatibility Notice
If you are installing this pulley on a pre-2026 Basic Series lathe, you must upgrade your headstock pulley to the indexing-style pulley that accepts 2L series belts.
Earlier Basic Series machines used a different belt configuration and will require the updated indexing headstock pulley for proper alignment and operation with the 2L belt system.
