3/8" square parting tool with a .060" wide blade. These are greating for parting off ringwork or plastics for ferrules, joint, or buttcap materials These tools have a super sharp speciality carbide insert with an upward rake for cutting wood, metal, and aluminum. They will make ribbons from maple and stay sharp for a very long time. Each insert has 2 cutting points and can be rotated when one gets dull. The tool includeds1 insert and replacements are available. Please not that this will not fit into the standard double sided toolpost without modification. It is designed to be used with the quick change toolpost.
