Rotating Handwheel Handle Upgrade – Crossfeed & Carriage

This custom-designed rotating handwheel handle is a direct upgrade for both the crossfeed and carriage hand wheels on Mid-America cue lathes. Precision-machined from 6061 aluminum, it replaces the small factory fixed handle with a longer, larger-diameter revolving handle for smoother operation and improved comfort during daily use.

Improved Ergonomics and Control

Installation Options

This handle is available in two sizes:

  • 1" length – Crossfeed dial

  • 1.5" length – Carriage hand wheel

DIY Installation Kit

The DIY kit allows you to upgrade your existing handwheel. Installation requires:

  • Removing the existing dial

  • Driving out the factory brass pin with a punch

  • Enlarging the existing hole using a #25 or 5/32" drill bit

  • Tapping the hole with 10-24 threads

Once tapped, the new handle threads directly into place. A small amount of heavy grease applied to the internal bore is recommended for the smoothest operation.

Complete Replacement Package

For a turnkey solution, this handle is also available as a complete replacement package that includes a new dial or hand wheel with the rotating handle already installed.
