Mounting Bracket for 750 Watt 3/4 HP DC Motor – Compatible With All Mid-America Headstocks

This upgraded motor mounting bracket is designed to bolt directly into the T-slot on any Mid-America headstock. It is the standard bracket included with all Pro Series Lathes, and it can also be used as a direct-fit upgrade for Repair Series Lathes when installing the 3/4 HP DC motor.

The system consists of two components—the mounting bar and the mounting plate. Both pieces can be purchased separately, but you will need both for a complete motor swap unless you already have the older square motor plate. That older plate can be replaced with this updated version for improved rigidity and compatibility.

This new bracket design supports the use of a 14" drive belt, positioning the motor slightly farther from the lathe bed. The increased spacing provides better clearance, especially when operating a 4-jaw steady rest close to the back side of the headstock.
